I just got an $1,100 Bowflex for $180 (early Christmas money + overtime money doing an overnight shift). Yea for no monthly payment plans + interest! Good thing we have a garage now. I can't wait to start using it tomorrow after 14 hrs. of editing!

I'm needing your help! After an intense 14 hour editing session yesterday, I finished a trailer for my newest feature, Howling Moon.

But before I let it and the website go live, I want opinions, observations, critiques. I want it rough. I want this 2 minute piece to be flawless.

I was up til 4 AM trying to finish transferring a video for a woman here at work. I'm *almost* done with these stacked-up projects for others. Then I'm decreeing no more videography or editing jobs until my own stuff is taken care of.

In wonderful news, it's finally very cold and grey outside! There was a hint of this a few weeks ago, but then it was in the high-seventies until today. Now that it actually feels like Thanksgiving I can get in the mood.

Apparently this debuted when I was in the whirlpool of frenetic production on Howling Moon last month. Me happy!

And it was good.

Ummm...so, Oktoberfest in 3 days! We have the room booked so we can make it a 2-day affair. Six people crammed in one room; that's gonna rock. I love sleeping bags.

But I hate how people are dropping like flies around here. Stupid Facebook applications that draw people away like so much glittery distraction without heart.

I made curry three nights ago. Remember: Less rice, more meat. Don't forget the nan.

Shooting completed Saturday night at 8:30 PM, with an hour of pickups Sunday 12:20 - 1:20 PM. Our longest shoot day was last Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 AM the next day (a 21 hour shoot day). The shoot was so smooth, and I was looking forward to a nice celebration at the end, followed by a day of rest before the return to the grind of work.

The last five days have breezed by, and we have three more to go. This afternoon was the first big fight sequence, out in the Guthrie train yard. I wish I knew where to begin. It only feels like its been two days; SO much has transpired. The pyrotechnician comes out Friday, the makeup effects are finished tomorrow, ready for Friday's battle royale in a tavern, and the fight coordinator's cool with a time change. Tomorrow we're in on the long haul for the most dramatic stuff through Saturday.

If only I had spare moments available to have blogged each day by day. No time.
