I struck a deal last night with one of Eminem's cohorts, King Gordy, to have full usage to one of his songs for use in the opening and closing of Howling Moon. I never would've dreamed I'd be using a rap song in this film, especially in a werewolf tale, but that looks like it's going to be the case given my recent decision to amp up the opening intro with a rather wickedly gleeful visual montage that should really get people worked up. I also plan to cut together a music video for promotional purposes using the track, which should help secure funding for the film-conversion processing. Very exciting!
